Settling in

Well the kids and I are settling in. It is very hard being away from family. Actually being so far away from family. I am hoping that the independence will be good for me. I can finally make my own decisions and not worry about what my family is going to think of this or that. Not have to worry about something that I do upsetting them, because they are all prety peeved with me right now for moving so I dont think there is much of anything else that I can do to tick them off any further.
Brittany started school on Monday and she has made a ton of new friends. She is on the softball team and is enjoying it very much. She had practice everyday this week and a game on Friday in Virginia City. She leaves for school about ten to seven and returns home about six fifteen. She also already has a boyfriend. Who woulda thunk this stupid town and stupid school would have a boy that would catch her eye?
Hailey also started her school on Monday. Her school is really advanced compared to where she was at. The resource teacher has agreed to help her with her math in the afternoons. Her reading is really blooming and she is doing wonderful. She misses her daddy a whole lot especially at bedtime.
I am doing good with my weightloss. It is so much easier up here because there is not all the fast food temptations. it really is beautiful up here. All the trees and the mountains and the snow it is heavenly looking up here. You really can see God in all these beautiful places up here. We have OWLS that live in the trees in our front yard! It is so awsome to hear them talking to each other at night. I will lay in bed and just imagine what they are saying to each other, it really sounds beautiful to me.
I will take some pictures and post them here as soon as I find my camera. Take care all.
